A Spacious, Fully Electric Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle
The Vauxhall e-Vivaro WAV uses the long-wheelbase XL model, providing generous interior space and a flexible seating layout.
The professionally converted rear of the vehicle features a lowered floor extending from the rear entrance towards the second row of seats, creating the additional headroom and space required for comfortable wheelchair travel.
Wheelchair access is via a practical rear fold-flat ramp. When a wheelchair isn’t being carried, the ramp can be folded back into the vehicle to create a flatter and more usable load area – particularly useful for taxi, private hire and multi-purpose applications.
Once inside, the wheelchair is secured using a four-point wheelchair restraint system, together with an adjustable three-point safety belt for the wheelchair passenger.
Flexible Seating for up to Nine People
One of the biggest advantages of the e-Vivaro XL is its flexibility.
Depending on configuration, the vehicle can accommodate up to nine occupants when travelling without a wheelchair, or up to five seated passengers together with a wheelchair passenger.
Additional seating and accessibility options are also available, including TriFlexAir folding and swivelling seats, manual or electric swivel seats and head and back support for the wheelchair user.
75kWh Electric Powertrain
The e-Vivaro is powered by a 75kWh fully electric powertrain with automatic transmission, making it particularly well suited to customers looking to reduce their reliance on petrol or diesel.
As a zero-emission electric vehicle, it’s also suitable for use within Clean Air Zones and London’s ULEZ, making it an attractive option for urban transport, taxi operators, care organisations and other high-mileage users.
The conversion has also been designed to retain the appearance and functionality of the original Vauxhall wherever possible, including the vehicle’s parking sensors and neatly integrated rear bumper.
