No data from any contact form is stored on our website or added to any mailing list without your consent.
When you use a contact form to book an appointment such as a ‘home demo’, ‘test drive’ or vehicle viewing we may enter your details into a customer management system so that we can schedule your appointment and set up reminders. We will ask for relevant information to do this including email address, name, contact number and for home demos an address.

When you send a request to book a vehicle we will enter your details into our vehicle hire system, this reserves the vehicle for you. When you want to sell or part-exchange your own vehicle will will ask for information that enables us to contact you and also some information that allows us to check details about your vehicle in order to give a fair valuation.
No data from part-exchange/sell quotes is stored on our website but some vehicle information is shared with third party companies in order to generate an offer.
We offer a ‘live chat’ real time messaging service on our website using software called Tawk.To. While we are chatting with you we can see your IP address so that we know roughly where you are in the UK (or world). We may also ask for an email address or telephone number, you do not have to provide these details but if you do we will send you a transcript of the chat and it enables us to follow up and sales, questions etc with you if required.
Your IP address is stored on our website while the live chat is taking place and saved for follow up. If you provided any personal details during the live chat these are also stored. The information you share, while stored on their server is not available to tawk.to or any other third parties.
We offer the chance to sign up for our WavsGB newsletter. This is an automatically generated email listing the latest vehicles listed on our website, the email is sent out each day when there are new vehicles. There is also an infrequent newsletter which is manually sent out with important news, offers or information we think our customers may wish to know.
As a customer you can choose to sign up to this together or individually. To subscribe to the newsletter we only ask for an email address, and the email must be confirmed on the sign up form and in a verification email before you are subscribed. Every email sent out will have an Unsubscribe email link or you can contact us to manually remove you from the database.
