Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles For Sale

Buying a Used Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle

Finding the right wheelchair accessible vehicle (WAV) is about more than choosing a make or model. It’s important to consider wheelchair dimensions, passenger seating, access requirements and how you’ll use the vehicle day to day.

Which Type of WAV Is Right for You?

Small WAVs are often ideal for everyday journeys and offer easy parking and good fuel economy. Larger wheelchair accessible vehicles can provide additional passenger seating, greater wheelchair space and more flexible access arrangements.

Our stock includes popular models from Peugeot, Volkswagen, Ford, Renault and Citroën, with a choice of manual and automatic transmissions.

Wheelchair Access and Seating

Different WAVs offer different access arrangements, including rear-entry ramps, powered ramps and wheelchair lifts. Some vehicles also provide space for additional passengers or more than one wheelchair.

It’s important to check wheelchair dimensions, headroom, entry height and seating positions before choosing a vehicle.
